iPhone Firmwire 2.0 Secure Data Wipe
AppleInsider is reporting that Apple will include a secure data wipe feature in the upcomming iPhone 2.0 software update. Apple has come under some fire for not including a full data wipe feature on the current iPhone software. This problem has become a issue for users wishing to sell or give their old iPhone away. This feature will be similar to the Mac OS X feature of securly emptying the trash (or securly deleting files). This is a welcome feature for many and a great way to insure your identity and data is safe if you need to delete it from your phone.
Rumor: AT&T subsidizing $325 of every iPhone 3G
According to Oppenheimer analyst Yair Reiner, AT&T is subsidizing the iPhone 3G at $325 each. That amount should make up for the revenue sharing that was eliminated in a revised agreement between Apple and AT&T.

The bloggers over at Gizmodo have a great FAQ concerning all the burning question surrounding the iPhone 3G. They are updating it daily as new information leaks from AT&T and Apple.
iPhone Flash Support in Development
During Adobe’s quarterly conference call last night, Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen confirmed that the company was working on a version of Flash for the iPhone.
With respect to the iPhone, we are working on it. We have a version that’s working on the emulation. This is still on the computer and you know, we have to continue to move it from a test environment onto the device and continue to make it work. So we are pleased with the internal progress that we’ve made to date.
